The Physical Plant Crafts Association, a non profit organization, was founded in 1988 by Scott Goodwin crafts manager at Utah State University.  After creating the association Scott served as president two times helping develop and nurture the PPCA into an organization that would successfully implement his initial vision “To share knowledge and information among the crafts at various institutions so they can maintain quality service and maximize productivity.”

PPCA is a grassroots organization empowering front line employees by helping them network and share information with peers at other institutions who face similar challenges.  This gives them the distinct advantage of being able to explore ideas with other trades people who have successfully approached and overcome specific job related problems.  PPCA has always emphasized the importance of quality maintenance at the lowest possible cost.   Continuous feedback from member institutions has proven invaluable in maintaining competitive advantages in our rapidly changing environments.

PPCA has a membership of more than 30 universities and colleges throughout the nation and continues to grow each year.  Member institutions are listed on the PPCA website, have access to the email list serve, and have representation through a contact person, including opportunities to serve on the Board of Directors.  Membership fees are $120 dollars per institution per year.  To become a member or renew membership please print out and mail in the form below along with the annual fee.
